Psalms 9-14 deals with a progression of evil lurking in our midst. The Psalmist sees it and speaks of it often. In Psalm 12, we see this evil played out in the evil thoughts and words of the wicked and how through the use of deceptive speech, they lead many (including themselves) astray.
