Sermon: The Love of God and Union with Christ
Pastor Tony Arnold
Scripture Reference: Colossians 3
September 7, 2008

Often, we think of the love of God as a transcendent and eternal thing without going further. God’s love has always been – in the Trinity, we see this perfect love exhibited before the creation was even brought into being. And the God of the Bible has chosen to show this love both in His creation (the design in which things were made) as well as through His creation (in saving His people so that they can in turn, show that same love to the world). Our love that connects us to each other is an illustration of the love the Father has for the Son and the Son has for His church. Pastor Tony Arnold discusses the love of God in Colossians 3.
